Solved Banner Problem

Hey guys,
I have got my banner up, but I can't get rid of the grey background image behind my banner, can anyone here help me please?

And does anyone know how to get rid of the bit near the banner that says "Friendly guitar and music forum for everyone."?

Try modifying your forum color by following this steps:

admin panel>display>colors>modify it as you desire settings>then save it.
