Spent credits to remove ads

Hi all.. my ad removal that i paid for runs out on the 5th March 2009 and i just spent 2000 credits on the 2nd of March 2009 to remove them for another 12 months. After spending the credits it tells me my ads are disabled until the 5th of March 2009 instead of 2010..i had to do it a few days earlier as i am away for a week. Have i just wasted 2000 credits because i paid to have them removed a few days earlier?
