help about avtars

as i have seen on lot of forumotion based forums that when any registered members do not upload avtar for themselves but there is already an avtar made defult for all members by admin of the forum .. how it is done ... please help

This is the way

ist of all let me thank u for ur reply .. i think my brother u did not understand my question i meant that if any forum user has not uploaded any avtar there should be any defult avtar till the member uploads its own avtar ... i was recently registering myself on one of the forumotion based forum and when i was registered i at same time logedin the forum what i observed that there is an avtar already loaded in profile ... with message that u have not chosen ur avtar please uploa avatar

Right!
At the time of registration. New registering members will receive whatever avatar you upload as the default avatar, if you follow the instructions above.

You can even use that image.
just copy the image location and load it in as the default avatar.

Display>Avatar Gallery
Click on Avatars management tab,

Default avatar. Copy and paste the address of the image in this field. If you don't want this option, leave this field blank.

i have made it as a defult avtar but nothing happens those members who have not yet upload their avtar there is nothing shown inplace of avtar... please

Did you try & create a new account after that & checked, whether it appears or not?

Repeating: The default avatar will only apply to NEW registrations.
NOT to current members who haven't loaded an avatar.

mehmoodriaz123, as Psi-chotic stated twice, only new registered members will recieve the default avatar you set, not the users that haven't uploaded an avatar yet.
