need help with avtars

I would like to use moving avatars in my forum. How can i create moving avatars?

This would depend on what a member is uploading and if you have the avatar setting so it can upload and fit them.

i think you are asking about like animated gif.. so yeah you can use them but depending on how much animation would be in one. you may have to have your avatars setting rather high.. but keep in mind now if you do this people that do not have animated avatars can end up being over sized and rather large.

GIMP is free and can make animated .gif's. Just download the program and read this tutorial on making animations on GIMP.

There also is Flash. This adds animation, but costs about $250... it has more into the animation and creation depth then GIMP, but GIMP works just as well if you feel no need to spend the money on it.
