Membership numbers

Hi chaps i was wondering if some one could help me out , my forum is for cars basicly its a small car club and i have been in discussion with local part suppliers to negotiate club discounts , now the problem i have is they want our members to quote there club membership no when ordering parts which i appreciate why they want it . But the problem is we dont have club membership nos , is there a option on the admin panel to issue club member nos or does anyone know a simple way to issue numbers
