[ONLY TOPIC] Issues with the new update [Please read first post]

Hi all,

Please post here all the issues and bugs you may have noticed with the update!

The new update sucks

The "gender" button in the Profile appears in a wrong line! It appears in the same line as "number of posts". I really don't like it this way!!!

I can't deactivate the topic calendar ^^

Tip for those have said that their forum category has been disappeared, try doing this. it works well for me:

admin panel>display>structure & hierarchy>*scroll down a little bit*>look for "Split categories on index" and set it to "Medium">then save it.

Your forum category should appear.

I am having a few problems that have happened after the new update ...

1. The column showing when the users signed up on the members list is not working.



2. Birthdays are appearing a day out on profiles ... birthday should be 04/04/1988. Also, is there anyway to change it so that it appears in this format?



Also, I would ideally like to get gender to appear as a symbol in the mini profile by the posts and as text in profiles, like it used to. Is there any way that I can do this?

3. The topics column is appearing wider than it did before and making the author column look narrower and odd It worked looked ok yesterday before the updates , but I am not sure where/if I can change it.



4. The moderator comments feature is coming up as text on the profile, not as an editable box like it was before. Is there any way to turn it back to a box?

I am completely lost with my category issue. I have searched all over the admin panel information and all my categories are still there, they are not blocked, and are attached to the correct forums. I can not figure out what actually happen at all. My categories that are created for my forums are all missing from view. The whole site looks like a block of information, and looks much disorganized. Was there a patch recently that took these off because last night everything was running perfect, and now everything is really messed up? If anyone is interested in looking at what I am talking about please visit my site, and you will see that there are the forums, but the categories that helped organize them are all gone. I can’t figure out what I am missing, please someone help me with this issue.

Regarding the categories issue, you can retrieve them by going here :
Admin panel > Display > structure and hierarchy > Split categories on index > medium

People People, just take it easy...

We all know that the new update is complete but still with bugs and errors.

That\'s why Typlo made this thread to ensure if the new update are working properly or still have some minor glitch and bugs that are needed action right away.

So just let\'s wait patiently, for the confirmation of Typlo if all our problem have been fix by the techies of the ForumMotion.

Typlo regarding the modifications templates for phpbb2 I did everything but it doesn't work.

categories are lost. They have the forums. But all the forums are together their aren't in their own categories. My version is also phb2 current style.

Gategories are back
Memberslist still not working
Im a noob when it comes to computers... usually the activex thingy allows me to download/add new activex things... but here it just says there is a problem, and i dont know how to fix it.
Its no where else on the web, only THIS forum and the one mentioned above.

Just wanted to add in that the points/rep field isn't showing underneath the avatars, nor in the profile stats.

Solution List:

1. Just enable your calendar for a while then go over your pics management and take out the image url over the calendar then save it. After that is done, head back again to calendar configuration then disable it. Then the calendar icon should disappear over your nav menu.

2. Wait for the confirmation of Typlo about this. Typlo already send this report to the techies.

Hi again, well ive come up with a new problem, and its in the profile fields. I do a number of different profile fields that only admin can alter, like top poster awards, things like that. Although in the admin, these items are set to only be altered by administrators, ive just been informed by a member, that she can alter these herself now, give herself awards or change her own status badges. Ive looked in the profile field list, and all the things she can alter are all set so members cant alter them, but still it seems that any member can alter these themselves now.

I've already forward this problem to Typlo. So no worries for this not to be solved.

So when I do this, my categories appear, but they look TOTALLY different than they did yesterday. Forums that didn't have headers before now have them, the font of the headers is huge and centered ... Anyone know if this is a template issue? I'm using one from HotSkins. How might I fix these issues?
