Problems using the Admin Panel

I have been trying to modify the colors and pics for my forum and I have been thwarted at almost every turn by the Admin panel itself. I try to click on 'Display' and it works about half the time, the other half I get returned to the main Admin Panel. The same thing happens whenever I try to make any change using the Admin Panel. It is getting extremely frustrating and I would like to have some help here.

Things to do
- Clear your cache, ctrl + F5
- Use firefox
- If there is a gap of time, when you don't do anything on the admin panel. Then whenever you come back & click on sometime it takes you to the home of admin panel. So avoid that time gap.

Thank you very much Sanket. I figured out that my problem originated with the AOL connection I was using and that if I used MSIE for access that i did not have the problem.
