Solved HTML Coding Problems!

Post by Dark Lord March 20th 2009, 8:27 am

Hello There, I'm Dark Lord. I've been on Forums for quite a while designing Flash Games, but I finally have decided to make my own. This Forum of Forums is actually really helpful when it comes to help needed on my forums. Anyway, I am quite new to HTML Coding, but can actually do it quite well. I do have a couple of questions to ask, and hopefully some of you more experianced users can help me out here.

1. Uploading an Image from your Computer and Adding it to the HTML Page. Here I have the Uploading Page known as the Vault:http://n-e-s.forum-motion.com/NES-Vault-h14.htm I'd like people to be able to click the Done button and it would add it to the Pending Submissions Table.

2. I still am not quite sure how to make images go on top of other images...

3. Here: http://n-e-s.forum-motion.com/NES-Archive-h16.htm I do know that the background is not right here, but I am trying to fix that. The problem is here, is that when you Log In, you do not need to even have an account on my Forums to Log in.

Hopefully one of you guys can help me with that! Thanks very much! Oh! And my Forums are here if need be: http://n-e-s.forum-motion.com/index.htmThanks! Very Happy

By the way, I love these Forum Smilies! So much to choose from, lol.

Please wait, when someone with the answer passes, I'm sure he/she'll post it
Meanwhile, may I remind you that double/triple posting isn't tolerated unless separated by 24 hours (Use the edit button) Wink

Not possible, its not HTML coding you need, but a web pgraomming language (ie PHP), which isnt supported on forumotion.

True, you'd have to make your forum supported by PHP before doing so.

Doing so will give acces to the forumotion source, which im sure the tech(ies?) do not want. Doing so will bring up alot of security issues and stuff.

there is a chance, but highlgy unlikely, you want full access then host it yourself.

I did, its not possible. Thats for 1 and 3.

Number 2, you cant exactly place 2 images ontop of eachother properly, it is possible though, by placing 2 divs with the the image as a background.

Hmmm, ok. Thanks anyway.

I have another question to ask...

Is there a HTML Code for Posts? Like, can I make a page where the Forum Members can post on this page I make?

No, none of that is possible with just HTML. Therefore not possible on forumotion.

Any user interaction is not possible.
