I think you will find that the link above is not banned, and you are right you do break the rules, unless of course you own the rights to the latest Indian hits, like from slumdog millionaire, i guess not, just because you say you own the copyright to romance corner, does not mean you own the copyright of the illegal copyright material you have for download. so i really dont think you have any right to complain if you get shut down, do you?

huh whats that i said there are lots of forum who make songs link this is not warez how this company said that and whats that huh i know 1000 forum hosted on forumotion who contain warez hacking phishing link and y they dont ban him i dont want to make next forum in here so thank u to ban my forum

From what i read around the forum, it seems sometimes that people dont realise they have things on their forums that they shouldnt have. They do it out of innocence, not realising they are breaking the rules, which is why it seems these sort of complaints now are getting more common. It doesnt seem like this online guardian has any sort of a warning system to tell you that you have content you shouldnt have, and please take it off. Of course if you are an out and out warez site or something then that would be clear to all, but it seems there isnt room for people making genuine mistakes, who would only be too happy to remove the odd thing that they didnt realise was breaking the rules. I think any system that seem to shoot first and asks question later, is only asking for trouble, and that puts us all at risk from this online guardian system. I must admit that i am getting increasingly worried about the performance of this online guardian and the steady amount of complaints against it. One slip, one mistake that you or your members make, it seems, will get your site shut down without warning, and im sure there are a lot of forum admins worried about that, (or should be) and not out of guilt, but out of not knowing.
An example of that on my forum, i have a lot of twitter fans, but i personally dont like it, well in fact i hate it, its nonsense, and i said so in a post. now online guardian states that Our systems detects behaviour or content which could adversely affect the hosts and the Internet, such as hate speech" so what happens now if this online guardian picks up the fact that somebody as said it hates twitter.. This is in essence "hate speech", is it going to come and shut me down now. Interestingly the Phrase "which could adversely affect the hosts and the Internet" sound suspiciously like "big brother is watching you" and could on those terms be encroaching on the issue of "freedom of speech". Im not really surprised that there seems to be a lot of innocent victims falling fowl of this thing, and i suspect there will be many more to come, while as Mani said, there are forums who use forumotion for warez and porn, and ive actually seen one promoting the growth and selling of cannabis, and they seem to be ok. Then we have this poor lad/lass unknowingly having something on, that may be they shouldn't have, and the forum is gone. That hardly seems fair to me, and i really do feel sorry for people who seem to be losing their forums for genuine mistakes, as i know how much their forums mean to them.

Being a new member here on forumotion, I didn't know too much about this "Online Guardian", till now. Thank you for posting this.

You bring up excellent points here for all of us that do honestly attempt to follow the rules. For as hard as I work on my site, I would be beyond angry if this "Online Guardian" takes down my site, just because someone on my forum posted something before I could take care of it? If that is truly how "OG" works, that is just nuts! All of our work gone in a flash? Correct me if I'm wrong, but somewhere here I think I read that once that action is taken, it cannot be undone? If so, you'll have many unhappy members. Forumotion is affordable to all, but I must say, if it is done to me and my site, it will cost me more to host somewhere else, but I won't have that problem no more.

All Admins should be given a chance to remedy these things for themselves first before action is taken. After all, we as Admins have a life too; just like the Admins of this site have lives as well. Things take time for Admins to care for. I think many of us, if given the chance to remedy these things that "OG" say's is breaking the rules, would be cared for if we were afforded the chance to take care of it.

If you have anything against the terms of service of forumotion, your forum will be take down. There are no exceptions.
