Solved Adds not to the topic discription

Post by Bushranger March 25th 2009, 4:26 am

My site http://www.sportztwo.org/forum.htm
Which is football related is only supposed to get adds that relate to this.

But I have been informed that somehow, someway the adds on my forum log in were related to gay men.
And each to their own, but I think that this is way wrong, as I have to say that now I know about it I would like it not to happen again. With this sort of advertising is going on in my site.

If this is going to be the way this is being run I would rather delete the site.
I would appreciate it if this was sorted out as soon as possible please.
Advertise any type of sports here but keep that sort of crap out.

Is it an image or video ad by any chance? If so, You can disable those ads by going to General>> Configuration>> You allow images and videos formats for your ads>> No.

No mate they are just the typed ones in a black background with white writting. But I will do what you have put down anyway just to make sure I don't get those ones either.

Just done a check on what you have put down and I have already said no to it. So thanks for your efforts.

No problem. Normally if you allow image and video ads, They tend to show sex-related ads. Happened to me couple of times.

Well look at that I can see not one thing this computer has been looking at and it has got it totally wrong, once more.
If it was to show football and I know I look at tattoo's. Then it would be right but those that are listed is not what anyone on this computer has look at.
So It has to revert back to the first post. And it needs fixing.

Everything that goollge are advertising is not to the subject of AFL, (or Football). I don't mind this but the chat to the gay part I take offence to, as it has been shown on here just what this is all over.
So if you read the post from the start you would undrstand what it is I'm on about.

How can you not stop this if that sort of thing is not looked at in this household.
I do understand that you do get busy but this is totally wrong.
And if i see this on here again I will close down my account with this forum and move on as you don't seem to want to help when it is needed.
And if this is what I have to do then I will do it.

Everyone views it differently as Sanket said. If you're not satisfied with the Ads buy credits and remove them.
