registration/welcome PM from admin

we tried to update the PM message for new members. it saved when we double checked. but when we tested it and registered a member, the welcome PM was not readable because there was NO title!

when we went back to the admin panel, the title and the sender field was blank, and the old message was there! it did not actually save the new welcome message after we saved it about 10x.

And if i may add, our log in pop up is not yet working, eversince the new feature came out. i was advised here to post in the "proper area" and i did, i bumped it even, but no one replied to it. we are using phbb2.

You did not add the Message subject.

hi! thanks for helping out. when we updated the welcome message, we included a subject ("Welcome new member!" and the sender (Admin). we saved it 10x by refreshing then saving, clicking other tabs in the admin panel, then going back to the welcome message tab to check if the new message was really saved. The new new message was saved, BUT the title and the sender's fields were blank.

We checked the new PM using a new account, and the message couldn't be opened because the title wasn't there. and when we went back checking the admin panel, the old message was there, again, without a title and sender.


i believe this also happened when we tried to enable right clicking, because we disabled it before. now, the code is not showing in the site description. we even changed it to a real description but right click is still disabled. so i guess the code's still there and this new description is not saved at all?

we tried installing a different skin and restoring the old one.






log-in pop us also is not showing and the welcome message is not saving; message title and sender remains blank upon saving it.

the welcome message is fixed. BUT the rest are still not working for my site.

Lizzie no double/triple posting unless separated by 24 hours.

Most of the time reinstalling the skin fixes what ever what the problem.
