opacity

I had this idea to make the 'panels' of my forums somewhat transparent in order to improve the style and looks of my forum. This idea is discussed in the topic: https://help.forumotion.com/tricks-tips-f32/to-make-the-cells-translucent-t137.htm



However, I can't seem to make the 'panels' (or as the topic above calls them - 'cells') on my forum transparent. The code simply has no effect at all. My guess is that the names for the 'panels' background colors has changed, and thus the code need some correction too. I've experimented with this, but without success.

I know its possible as ive seen forums that have this.
Any ideas as to what i might be doing wrong? Suggestions?
