Forum registration error

Hello, i 've made a forum , all worked nice, but last day an user contacted me by email and told me he cant create an account on my forum , why?
after pasword confirmation he get a message : sorry, this site does not accept users older than 99 years old

I tryed myself to see if the problem is there and persist and the answer it's yes .. no matter what year date month of birth i try to register an account with i get the same error message

admin>users and groups> user options go to bottom and make maximum age over99 ! as high as you want then will let member join
