[Problem] Error, during update topic during sync

I am here in regards to the forum FreestylersCrew.com. I am not the original founder, but an Administrator of the forum. The founder does not log on too often so we cannot restore a forum backup.

The forums were working fine a few hours ago. The portal is working perfectly, but the index only displays a general error which reads "Error, during update topic during sync." When attempting to resynchronize the forums, as a whole, it again displays the same error message. I then resynchronized each forum individually yet to no avail.

I have searched the Forumotion forums and have only found one topic that pertains to the same issue. The thread (located Here) had a few solutions, yet none of them have worked.

Any possible solution is greatly welcomed.

My gut feeling to this is that your forum is being backed up for the buck up utilities.

However, some possible fixes are

Have you tried changing your skin?

non-founders can do that too

Alternatively, you could read the founding password information https://help.forumotion.com/connection-problems-f42/reminder-for-founders-who-lost-their-passwords-t11115.htm
so you can gain access to the founding account, and reset the whole forum.

I have changed the skin a couple times and that has not resolved the issue. If the forums are indeed in the middle of creating a new backup. I will be patient and wait a couple of hours before bothering a Administrator of these forums.

it's nothing

if you have got more than 25 categories, it shouldn't take more than 1 hour
But it has been known to do so, so be a little patient.

I have been a Administrator of the forum for almost two years now, yet never before had this occur. Although the forums were recently expanded, so it is very likely that the backup is causing this.

Hopefully this will be helpful for anyone else that experiences this issue.
