Question about special rank

I read about it in the FAQ but still don't know how to do it. I know now how to do for normal ranks but if I want to give a special rank to a member, I still don't know.

To create special rank, you must goto:

new version of admin panel:
go to your Admin panel > User Admin & Group Admin > Ranks > Add a new rank

old version of the admin panel:

be sure that you are in advenced parameters (), and then, go to user admin>>ranks

Hi. I know how to add a new rank. But I meant how to give a member a special rank.

admin panel>>User Admin & Group Admin>>User Admin>>Find a user or modify list order>>write the name of the user you want to give a him special rank>>when the username found Click above>>go to the botom of the page in "Special admin-only fields">>Rank Title

I found it thanks but Katt said "you give him the rank you want by clicking on the small arrow.

But the only possibilites I got when I click in the rank title are "No special rank assigned" & "Admin". I don't have where to tape the title I want. :(

are you sure you clicked yes in set as special rank?
