when i set the permission for a sub forum to be read and write by moderators.
Does it mean that as long as the person is a moderator in part of that forum, he/she will be able to access? Cuz my moderators all can't open it~

You need to open advanced parameters in the admin panel(top right corner), then move to the tab called "forum" from there on the right there are two boxes, click the one that says permissions from there you can see all of the set permissions of the forums. click on any one to navigate to it and scroll to the bottum to see permissions options.

another way if you want to make only one group a moderator of a section go to "user admin and group admin" in there on the left go to: group admin and click on the group you want to change permissions for. you will recive a check list with where that group is moderator for.
