'moving' posts

Hi. I SO apologize if this is a dup but... I just started a forum for a family reunion that we are starting. I created the forums and now want to break up a "where do you live" into subs under where do you live for East coast, west, etc. I have created the subs BUT how do I take the 11 "replies" and move them to the appropriate subs?

you have to split and move the post.
go to your mod tools. select split. then check off the one you want to split
and hit OK or submit. the you will have to move it. once again right in your mod tools select move post then you will see a drop down menu to choose the board you want move it to. click that. but dont leave a shadow. if you leave a shadow it\'s going to leave a copy of the post ware it was originally. so never leave a shadow

i\'m assuming you want them in separate post? if not then you have to merge. same thing right in your mod tools. just follow the directions or what it ask you when doing it and it\'s pretty self explanatory.

if you have any problems just come back here and ask. either i another member or staff will help you and and get it right for ya.
