How to add a visitor message to a profile

I'm clueless. Can someone please tell me how to enable and how to add visitor messages to a members profile? Thank you.

Never mind, just figured it out. I just need to change the button that says New pm...to add VM

admin panel>user groups> click on profiles.
then click on general options. click yes for activate advanced profile.
then set the rest how you see fit.

pretty sure that's what your asking Smile

be sure to hit the solved tab for staff.

I had it activated. Thought the newpm button was to send a private message, not visitor message. I made a new button. Thanks!
