Hey when members finish registering to my site is there a way they will get a message in there email to active there own account?

An email will be sent when a member registers at your forum automatically.

Well theres three options for activation?
you can have it set for automatic. to ware i'm not sure if they are still sent an email or not? but it will automatically activate them.

or you can have it set to users. then they will be sent an email and they will have to activate it there selves.(or you can still do it to in the admin panel if you wanted to)

or you can have it to ware only admins can activate the accounts.
so it's up to you how you want to set.

admin panel>user/groups>user options and the second one down will be new accounts activation. set it as you wish and hit save.

also wile your there be sure to check all other options for things you may or may not want

lol oops my bad right under that is the option to send email notification.
if you have it on none they wont be sent one. admin means it comes from the admin and mod means mod.. lol
