Re: Still Confused...what is the head and where is it???
2 ways to upload a favicon.
1. upload your favicon to a host ex. www.imageboo.com, once you uploaded your favicon then it will give you a link (more like rapidshare style) copy paste it, then go to admin panel>General>forum favicon> paste your favicon link and viola! you have your own favicon! <---easiest way! Im assuming you have your own favicon, if not go here and create your own, then repeat the instrucion.
2. here is where your header goes lolz,
in your html find this " <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>" and just below it insert your favicon link,
sample code for a favicon link
<link rel="icon"
type="image/ico"
href="http:// your_favicon_host">
To make sure my tip works click here, see I have use a flag as a favicon it goes all through out the site, and if youll stay long enough the homepage youll see I have made a page peel ( a page peel is the one on the upper right corner( peels the page when a cursor hovers to reveal hidden image or text), if you like it I can also give you instructions for it.
enjoy

You should see the icon after you hit the upload right away in the admin panel, but with the browser sometimes you have to clear cache or delete coockies first , but even without doing that it will show dont worry,
Hey, that is only if you have a successful icon upload in the admin panel.

I uploaded my image on imageboom then deleted the cookies and copied it in the Favicon spot and saved it but it is still not there beside the Favicons already in place from Forommotion
I tried Forum 1 and Forum 2 files from imageboo and both are not ther!
I am puzzled
