is this possible that we only allow guests to see a topics but that topic is not viewable by members like a guests lounge

you can create a group called guest and have permissions set for that group.but then they would have to be a registered member to be put in the group..lol so i guess that defeats the purpose.

so just open a guest lounge if members want to participate let them.
after all there your members.

or you could really have the permissions so your members cant post or reply on them boards. but they still could if they weren't logged in and just post as a guest.. haha
sorry one again i guess that would defeat the purpose.
That's definitely a question i never seen before though.

oh and if you do open a guest board be prepared to get some spam here and there

Well The guest lounge is just for the purpose of login or register problems

Oh then your members probably wont even add to it then.
put a rule in your description of the board that it is only for that and members not post or reply unless they have one of those problems.

or you can put it in a sticky too. that's about your best bet.
and if members post in there for off topic or something that dose not pertain to the board give them a warning. i understand ya now Smile
