what you need to lift a ban on a member?
admin panel>search the user name>click on there name and scroll to the bottom of the page.you'll see a thing for banning just click no and hit save

Well when i'm able to get on my other forumotion forums i could tell you.
I am not the head admin at forumakers so i think i'm missing some settings for mods.i can have them ban people but do not see anything for warning controls or them viewing ip's. i logged in as my test mod and they dont even have tools.

anyway just pm your admin and ask him to lift the ban or fix the settings and permissions so you can do it. are you able to see ip's,ban,warn members and have your tools?? my test mod sure dont... lol

i can see ip's, ban and warn members but can't unban lol, anyways i will talk to admin, but...he is not replying..., is this possible ever or should i suggest?

it's probably the case to ware you cant. i dont ever recall seeing a setting for mods to be able to lift the ban? But like i said i'm not sure the forums that are mine i cant even access right now. but i'm pretty sure as a admin on Forum Makers i still have all access to the whole panel. i think they only thing i can not do is move/change the link or try to ban the owner..lol

but even that forum is acting wacky right now?I Mean i set everthing for the mods and nothing is coming up? so i'll fiddle with it and fix everthing tomorrow.

I think it is a good idea for mods to unban members, since it is your idea Xclipse why do you nt ggest this in the sugestion section?

you can ban but not unban a member sorry, Some Admins dont let you ban a mamber on there.

your find you need to send a pm to your admin to fix your unban Very Happy

if you set a date or set days for a member to be banned when they will be back in on that date

The admin has to select an option for mods to be able to ban members in the ACP I think...

i CAN ban members, the problem is i want to lift the ban...so it is not possible...that's wierd......anyways i'll add this idea in my "already-proposed suggestion"
