Make Portal the Homepage

Hi,

I've recently joined Forumotion. I was just wondering if it's possible to set the portal as the homepage of your site (so when people go onto your forum the portal will show up first). If so, then how?

Actually when you have the portal on it should go to the portal page first.
OK yes that is correct i just tested it.
admin panel>modules> click yes for show portal and hit save

I tried what you instructed me to do, but unfortunately it still doesn't work. I'm still being directed to the forum index?

i just tested it with mine and it worked.i have it on my desktop icon.
when i turned the portal off it went to the index. when i turned the portal on it went to the portal.

so try turning it off and click the link. then try turning it on.
Then if nothing let me try a few more things. but it should just go right to it.
be sure to hit save too

well i just tried it again.
when i turn the portal off my link in my favorites and bookmarks will go to the index page. when i turn the portal on. they then go to the portal. so i'm not sure why it's not working for you? you can always change you link to what the portal link is.
But then all members will have to know the new link?

so just wait for a staff or other member i'm sure they can tell you how to get it working right.for me it's just a matter of turning the portal on or off. so that's strange it would not work for you that way?

your linking yourself to the index not the portal lol
look at the address, if is shows index.html, then it shows the index... kinda hard to explain tho

I'll just change the link then. I must have missed that.
