any way to make link dead ?

is there any way that i can make links dead on my forum...like if someone tries to post the link of any copyrighted material ( Against forumation rules ) , then as soon as he posts...the link become dead...dead meanz that itz not clickable...lyk it appears in the form of text...

I don't really understand what you are saying; however, I don't think (from what I do understand) that is possible.

All i want is if someone posts a link......it should become dead / not clickable / should not work......

No, it is not currently possible.

Yeah I think, you just have to keep on top with the posts, and make sure no copyright links are posted - if they are, just edit the post and put ''Link Removed'' and perhaps tell members they are forbidden to do it.

the only way to have the link non click-able would be to remove the http://

or if you were to edit a few characteristics out of the ling such as letters,number,.com etc.. then the link will still click but be a dead link.

if you have members posting links that are breaking your rules or TOS. just edit the post and give warnings. if they keep doing you you'll have to ban them.it's up to you.
