how to show catagories??????????

plz tell me how make catagories to appear in the forum hehe bwi

First your category must have a forum in it.

If you have already a forum on your category try doing this, to show the category:

admin panel>display>structure & hierarchy>"Split categories on index" changed it to "Medium">then save it.

The key is: promote promote promote!

Get your site on Google, go to places such as forum advertiser, and use the presentation proposals here, they will all get members on your forum Wink

you can promote your forum in here
(that's the presentation's of forums section of this forum)

As for free adds give you members, never heard of it.

You just have to promote!
and lots of it too.....you can "affiliate" with other forums for 1 example.
