Solved Domain Questions

Post by Baylixx April 28th 2009, 8:19 am

Dear ....,

Hi, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me.
I have been planning to create my own website through forumotion and I was wondering a few things concerning domains.

Firstly I was wondering if it's possible to buy a domain from outside of forumotion and install it on our forumotion site? Eg. buy a domain from Domians.com.au then install it on myforumotionforum.forumotion.com?

The next question is concerning if I DO buy a domain from Forumotion. Does the domian require yearly payments of 1600 credits or does it just convert back into it's old subdomain and requires me to manually buy the domain again?

Yours truly, Baylixx

Yes you can do that Smile

It lasts for 1 year, the date of purchase to 1 day after date of purchase Wink
It does require yearly payments of 1600 credits, YES

hmm Im not sure about the returning to the previous subdomain sorry.

I hope this has helped out,
Darren.
