Wrong Directory

Hi, hope you can help! I made a forum from a location in Israel. The forum seems to be advertised on an Arab Directory, and I don't even speak the language! Furthermore the Forum is religious in nature and may be an offense to Arab speaking people, which is something I really do not want! How can my forum be 'transferred' to show up on an English Directory please? Thank you for your help.

Um you can try making it so your not participating in forums directories
then hit save. then try putting it back in the forum directory and be sure to choose all the proper categories and options for English.

that's the only thing i can suggest right now. but i will look into it a Lil more to see if these a better way or something else to do.

Ok I have tried what you said...I selected No where it says Participation in Directory, and hit save... It saved my choice.

Then I went back and it still only gave me a choice of an arabic directory. The main headings are all in arabic. Does this have anything to do with the fact that the forum 'reads' from what location I created it?

This is a real problem for me, and I believe not one I can solve on my own. Perhaps Forum Management can 'redirect' my forum to appear on an English Directory. There is no point in having a forum, which cannot be placed in a directory of my choice. Not allowing it's display at all, is not an option for me.

Is it still coming in some other directory?

Yes the MAIN directory is Arabic... It appears as "religion" in English, but most of the other directories to pick from are written in Arabic. Also the Main Directory is Arabic. I would really like it to appear on a directory for English, American, Australian any other place who has English as their Main Language where the WHOLE Directory is written in English, if at all possible. Else the only other alternative I have is to close the Forum permanently...
