Is there ANY way to beable to get the 1 at the bottom right to work? Or do I have to have the SQL instead? or does anyone know a good one that works?

It's an additional element/language required to reference & manipulate a web site
data base and is necessary for a slide show, like the one above, to work.

To show data from a database (i.e. uploaded images, .js, html etc) you need these:

* An RDBMS database program (MS Access, SQL Server or MySQL)
* A server-side scripting language, like PHP or ASP
* SQL
* HTML / CSS

Anyway, back to the 1st question...

Yes you would need SQL, requiring you to upload: "images for the slideshow"
and these files "contentslider.css, contentslider.js, loading.gif" to your site.

One of the better "free non-SQL" slide show scripts I've used is > Here

It has a nice "fade effect" from one image to the next > Games Testing Demo

All of the images must have the same dimensions.

The script is free to use provided you include the copyright notice Cool

I know what SQL is, SQL has nothing to do with uploading, SQL stands for 'structured query language', and is used for querying a database, not uploading files.. Images, javascript files, html dont get stored in a database...

For the people that do not know why you would need an SQL, have you ever used a website needing one? If not then how would you know what you need and dont need?

I have used one, you have to upload certain files to make others run, its not about just uploading the pictures there...

As for you Rono thanks for the help I will check it out. I believe there running the "marquee" effect are they not?

I have thought of that, and looks like that is the only way I can get it. What I might do then is just put a border around the pictures to make it look more proffesional.

The majority of forums, blogs, cms and so on run of databases, meaning use of SQL, anyhow, ontopic.

what you can do with the link you had in ur first post is host them elsewhewre, and link to them. Or, you can rather than linking to a js file, put it in the script tag, the same thing happens.
