Picture onto menu

I really want an image on my menu bar telling members when they have a new message - I have a problem. It still comes up with you have one message, with the image really tiny next to it

Can I have some help please

If you want images on your navigation bar,then replace the url here:

ACP=>Display Tab=>Pictures and Colors=>Pics management=>Advanced Mode=>General/Explorer=>change link=>Save

That's what I did

Try this first:

ACP=>Display Tab=>Homepage=>Headers & Navigation=>Page headers=>Display only images in the link bar=>Yes=>Save

Oh I have just tried that, and it says about a Menu Name? But their is no option for that

Can i have a link to your forum, also did you do as Master Marc suggested?

The way i did it is when a user gets a new message the navbar image "P.M." changes to yellow. Eventualy i will turn that into a flashing gif that flashes yellow to white.

Check it out here Eriko's Forum. You probaly won't be able to see it however its not that hard to do.

I used photoshop and will use easy gif with an image creation that has 2 frames which flashes on and off (yellow and white text) to let the person know they have a message.

remember it will only come up when they have new massages then you wont see it.
