How can I play music on my forum homepage?

Hi,

I want to add in a player so that i can play some melody as background for my forum. That means when people access to my forum homepage, they can hear the music playing. And they also have the option to stop, pause, continue or mute it, etc.

So anyone know how to do this, can you pls give me instruction. Thanks a lot!!

Hello..to add a music player it's very simple

BUT, BE AWARE THAT THE MUSIC MUST BE FREE NOT COPY WRITED

you can put the player either on the homepage only, or on all pages..

here is the code of the microsoft free player

copy this code to a text file or something and edit it by placing the URL of your music file instead of the current default mp3 address

to place the code (after modifying it) follow these step:

to put it just in the very first page of the forum only:

1-admin panel (old version)

2-general admin

3-homepage..then paste the code here in that big box in the bottom of the page (the homepage message) BUT remember to click this icon before pasting the code ...save and try

if u want it to be played in all pages follow step number one and two then

3-configuration....here on the right paste the code in the "forum description" field....save and try and tell us

if u want to put a big playlist i will tell u later

I've tested and it works well. However, it does not automatically play the music even though I already set autostart="1".

Anw, it's great if you can show me how to put the playlist.

you are welcome..about the start what u set is correct..just give it sometime and it will work automatically

about inserting a playlist..look..the play list code can be added to the homepage and HTML pages only, if u wanted to put it in your topics it will need a simple modificattion (tell u later, or privatelly)

head to www.musicwebtown.com , register, and upload music...have fun!

I just want to know how can I play music on my homepage just once , when I get online? I don't want to use a portal*
