how do i add view all new topics button

What you need to do is make a customized menu.
Display>>headers and navigation>>add new

First go to your forum and click on the "posts since last visits link"
and copy the url.

Then go to the create new menu link in Display>>headers and navigation>>
fill in the fields
paste the url of new posts url in the redirection url
load in the image url for the button.

you can change the position of the button back on the nav links page with the up/down arrows.
