Category's and Forums-Help Urgent Empty Category's and Forums-Help Urgent

So here is my problem. I have 5 wings in a game. I need to make 5 categories with 5 different sets of forums. One for each wing of my alliance!
How do you see the categories. for example this is what I need to see.
VoW-as the category
News and updates
VoWI-as a category
News and updates

I have created 2 categories already and to forums to them. Both are News an Updates. On the main forum page you see no categories just both News and updates. How do I make the categories viewable on my forum home page? Please help!
