Emails being sent out fr every reply

Is there any way to disable the 'send out mailings every time a topic reply happens' to the whole forum and not just via profile?

Menu Forum> Profile> Preferences:
Always notify me when answers:
Check no!

Help?

I have the same question. Individual members can disable this option via their profile, but a lot of members don't think of doing that and end up with loads of emails to delete. Can an administrator disable it for the whole forum on behalf of members?

Once you are in the Profile>>Click Topics being watched>>Click on Mark All>>Then Click on Stop Watching these Topics>>Save
