I want display Navbar in the top of page and bottom of the page

I want display Navbar in the top of page and buttom of the page

What I mean is I allready have the navbar displayed at the top of the page...
So now I want it to be displayed at the bottom too, so it shows in both places.

How to?

Help me please !
I need to find out if this is possibel.

You can't position the navigation bar on top and bottom. ...

if you have phpbb2 and template editing you can create a new widget under your forum and add some links manually.

otherwise It can't be done

if you need to know the link to scroll to top, here it is:

putting #top does not work on all computers

that javascript is suppost to be put in a link. Put it anywhere that you want someone to be able to press a link. And anyway, there are already buttons for that. do you see the two green arrows at the bottom of my profile:






Click on them, they are for bottom and top of page.

well only in phpbb2 and template editing can you add new stuff to the bottom of the forum. But if you are using side widgets ... you can create a new widget and use justcorbins javascript ... which i neither confirm nor recommend.

No I want this button at the bottom "in the footer" of the forum, cuz my forum length is so long that is takes like forever to scroll down to the bottom.

i got it to work.

what i did was created it.
if someone can find the code/script for the nave bar then that will be easier.
you just copy that code and add to the overall header footer. bottom of the page.

but here's what i did.
I only did this as a test with three of my nav bars. but if you place this code
in the bottom (over all footer = bottom of the page)
then publish you will see my three tabs at the bottom of you forum. if you click them it will go to my forums pages. but if you did your links in there and added it.Then it will be just like your nav bar.
like i said you have to add the link,then the image one at a time for each nav tab/icon then convert the code by your html on the forum. save the code then place in the footer template.

try this on your forum to see what i mean.

Sorry gangsta i got so caught up trying to test it to see if i could get it i forgot to mention a couple of things.

First of all are you using phpbb2 version?
If not it wont work because you can only edit the templates in the phpbb2

if you are then

Admin panel>display>templates>general
then you scroll down until you see over all footer= bottom of the page and you would put the code all the way at the bottom>hit save>then go back and hit the green cross icon that says publish.

Ok now what i mean by converting to an html code... lol
all i did was set this up with bbc in a subject box.
After setting it up the way you want You copy that and past in your homepage Generalities.
Admin panel>display>Homepage Generalities.
You would place the bbc in your (homepage message) then hit save.
Now scoll down to it again and it will be in a html format.I know it seems funny but it works.Plus you can do that for anything you want that way.

So all i have done was right clicked on the image in the nav bar and save picture as.
Then i copy the link and add as a click-able pic. just like making a click-able banner.
But you would have to do this for every nav icon that you want and line them up in the subject box then copy the code and place in Homepage Generalities like i said above.

So i know it might seem a lil silly but it will work.
Now to avoid going through all these steps if we can find the code to the nav bar in the templates then you would just copy that and past to your bottom template and that would be a pice of cake. i was unable to find it so i had to do it the long way but still easy.

anyway check out the bottom of my forum here.then picture all your nav tabs like that at the bottom of your forum.It's just like making click-able banners. you just have to convert the code then place in your templates.

And under Theme version it say PunBB...

My blog is the same way...just tell your members to click on home and it takes it you back to the main page.

Gangsta i belive what Olga was trying to point out was the yellow icon that takes you back to home.(i think?) were all here to try to help.things are confusing sometimes.So lets all please try to keep this on a mature level and help to the best of our abilities

Well i have changed my version from phpbb2 to all the others and some things changed a little as far as the colors and forums stucture.But all the forums will remain and depending where your flash banner is it should not effect that.

if it dose you just switch back to the punbb.
But the only way you can do it is to have phpbb2.

the punbb should have a jump box at the bottom of your forum?
i seen one there when i changed mine to that version.

if you follow the instructions above you should have no problem.
but it might take a lil wile. just be sure to preview it after creating it in the subject box to make sure it's right and how you want it first.
