Status Icons for threads/forums/categories

Using phpbb3, I've uploaded all the images for the new/old/locked topics/forums and yet when someone posts something new, the icon next to the forum and the topic won't change to the "new" icon, but stays the same "old post" icon. Can someone tell me why this is happening? And how do I fix this?

Make sure that you have to URL of your images in the right field.

And try this please if it's in the right position:

ACP=>General Tab=>Forum=>Configuration=>Misc options*=>Resynchronize your forum=>tick the box=>Save

It's a bit weird, though, since the Forum icon will only change to "new" if there's a new thread, not if there's a new post. Is this normal?

in your display pic's management for (icons for forums)
make sure you have the image in (Category - New) and (forum new)
now in (icons for topics) make sure you have the in (subject new)
