well everyone have different monitor and of course the resolution..
and percentage sometimes wouldnt be the same on another screen.
so i think what if u make it arrangable by pixels ?
it'll be easier i think..

I have created many fixed width themes...
it is possible.

admin panel-> display -> colors -> css
find .body{
and change the width to minimum 800px;

you can make it more if you want
