default values in profile

hi.

at the moment the default options when creating a message are ticked on
- Notify me when a reply is posted

and unticked on
- Attach signature (signatures can be changed in profile)

i find it very annoying to receive an email on each answer and i always want signatures attached.
i know that every user can change that in their profile individually, but what i want to know is where can i set the defaults so that i not every user has to do that on their own?

i want 'Notify me...' unticked and 'Attach sig...' ticked as standard for all users that register...

where to do it?

There is no way to stop them all at once.

where is it determined then, that the boxes are ticked/unticked as they are at the moment???
i mean, they are just variables like most other things in the forum too.

at some point the administrator of the forum must have the ability to change these preferences, or not?...

I just spotted this subject, yeah I am having the same problem, I want my signatures set to yes as a default not no


How can this be changed?
