embed code in post?

i have a quiz that i want to post on my forum for my members.

i have the embed code.
when i post the code in a post it shows up as just code, but if press that A/A thingy in the top right corner. the code disappears but am left with just the text from it saying 'MAKE A QUIZ' and no quiz appears.

so is it actually possible to embed stuff in the posts? if so what am i doing wrong?

Are you sure you have HTML enabled on your forum?

erm...... i dont know , i tried looking for it in the admin CP but i couldn't find it, could you tell me where it is please?

Most definitely:

1. Administration Panel [Advanced]
   
2. General tab
   
3. Messages and Emails -> Configuration
   
4. Allow HTML : Yes
   
5. Save
