Two problems: Moderators and smilies

I've recently created a forum at Forumotion, and I've encountered the following two problems:

1. I've added a moderator to the moderators group, but the group can only moderate the first forum in the list. When I try to the add the mods to the other forums (selecting forum in permissons + saving changes), the system just doesn't pick up on the changes. The mod group still just only controls the first forum.

2. I want to add new smilies on my board, but the whole smilies thing doesn't appear in my Admin panel.

If anyone could help me on this, that would be great. Thanks in advance!

I've skimmed through the tutorial and followed the directions, but it still ended in the same result. For example, with the smilies thing: I head up to the Admin panel --> Styles Admin, but then the smilies option is missing. I've already checked the other panels, but it isn't there either.

EDIT: I've run into another snag. When users quote other peoples posts, you can't see the text in the quote box. You have to select the text in order to see it. Anyone know how to fix this?

You mean the quoting thing? I seem to have found a temporary solution to the problem. Add the code [ color = orange ] (without the spaces, of course) right after the opening quote tag and end the text with [ / color ] right before the closing quote tag, and the text will be visible.
