BBS codes not working

Hi all,

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, if I have a setting that's off, or what, but I can't get my images to work on my forum.

I use the [img] code that is provided and place the "image location link" in the img code and it posts in text and not image.

I have BBS enabled in my profile, and I *think* I have it enabled in the forum setup.

First of all, where do I verify that it's set up in my forum setup? Second, anyone else have this problem?

The only pics I can get to work are Photobucket pictures by copying the IMG code from there, but I'd like to be able to post other ones that are not Photobucket hosted.

Okay, for example:

I am trying to post a pic of my pup on the board. So far the only way we can get pics to work is via Photobucket and I'm trying to avoid that being the case:

Code: [ i m g ] [ / i m g ] (minus the spaces). I also use the image option when posting (the little icon thingy) and it just posts the link with the code around it.

Thank you, but I've already done that.

On every other forum I'm on, I can right click on an image that is already online that is not password protected, and click on 'copy image location' and paste into the [img] code and it works. Mine is the only forum I have found it doesn't work, although it's all the same coding. That's the frustrating point.

Hello GreaseMonkey,
Make sure that your bbcodes works in your profile.

Profile=>Preferences=>Always allow BBCode=>Yes=>Save

Also,make sure that you un-marked bbcodes to be disabled in your options when posting.

When posting,below your message box,you'll see some options.

~Disable BBCode in this post => Un-Mark => "Send",when you want to post.

Also,make sure that you have a working image with .png/.jpg/.gif endings.
