Making text bigger?

on somebodys forumotion forum i noticed somebody made the text on there announcement thing and below the banner they made the text bigger! how do u do this?

You can change the size by changing size="3">

First of all you need to stop using IE. Thats the issue. Use firefox & it should be fine.

I don't know what you/I did wrong.
Where did you place that code?!

i dont want to download firefox anyways...i fixed it. thanks anyways though
