How do i make different sections.. like

How do i make different subjects like i want it in different parts how do i change the part where it says forum i want that to be a different name and then i want the next part to say forum like it suppose to be something like this..

Vengeance Gunz Members
TOPIC (ANNOUNCEMENTS)
TOPIC (Download Client)

and then i want it to be in a different section
FORUM
TOPIC (Discussion)
TOPIC (Report Hackers)

etc etc

That may not be a good way to explain it but that is the best way I can if someone knows what I am talking about please help me.

it doesnt give me the option to make a sub forum

I want there to be a space between the sections
Example:
Welcome

Download Client
Announcements

TOPIC
TOPIC
TOPIC
TOPIC
TOPIC ETC

Ahh.. so you don\'t need the Sub-Forum... then just put Category...

For Example...
if you add Category like \"Welcome\"..
it will create its own table...

if you add another Category like \"Love Area\"
it will also make its own table.. separated from \"Welcome\"

Just like that?

If the SS above is what you really like to do in your forums...

go to Admin > General > Categories and Forums...

Click the Green Plus Button.

in "Choose the Kind of Forum you want:" Choose the First Option which is "Category"
Write the Category's Name, the Description *if you want*
Then Save ^^

The box that you colored blue all mine says forum.. idk how to change tha

If the Category has been made...
Click the Modify [yellow] Icon of the Category you want to change...
Then Change its name and Save...

Is it alright now?

Which one do i make first category or the forum... because when i make the category first nothing shows up on my forum

Display>struture and hierarchy
Split categories on Index: Medium

hit save. See if that works.

Either of the Two...
Try Refreshing your Forum Page

Example: You want to make Category
Choose the kind of forum you want : Category
Category name : Welcome Area
Attached to :
Position this category after : *Title of Forum* which means it will be placed as First Category
Add a forum to this category ? : Yes..

Then save

Ok i got the title to say Test instead of forum.. but now how do i make other posts under that?

Just like in making Category...
Admin > General > Categories and Forums

In Category like "Welcome"

The Word "Test" in Red Bar...
Try to Change the Title to "Welcome"
by going to...

Administration Panel > General > Categories and Forum..
