Solved music problem

Post by richieboy August 3rd 2009, 1:47 am

somehow i managed to delete the music that i had embedded into my forum,

i found on the forums how to put it back on, but the problem i have now is that the link for the embedded musicplayer can now be seen whereas before, all that could be seen was the play/pause button

http://theori.forumakers.com/forum.htm

that's my forum, take a look and you will see what i mean

anybody know how to hide that

Where are you placing the code? Try this
Code:
<embed src="http://www.geocities.com/emperorzach/OriChorus.mp3" autostart="true" hidden="true">

You can place it in:
General Configuration > Site Description
but it will play on every page Shocked

I tried in Homepage message and it worked fine.

This is the code I see on your page
Code:
<embed src="http://www.geocities.com/emperorzach/OriChorus.mp3" autostart="true" hidden="true"></a><code style="color: Gray; background-color: Gray;">&lt;embed src="http://www.geocities.com/emperorzach/OriChorus.mp3" autostart="true"</code><code style="color: Gray; background-color: Gray;"> hidden="true"</code><code style="color: Gray; background-color: Gray;"></code><code style="color: Gray; background-color: Gray;">&gt;</code><br><code><br></code><embed pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/MediaPlayer/" src="http://www.geocities.com/emperorzach/OriChorus.mp3" type="application/x-mplayer2" autostart="true" showstatusbar="0" volume="20" width="20" height="10">
</div>
You don't need all of that

Use this (hidden music, no play/pause button)
Code:
<embed src="http://www.geocities.com/emperorzach/OriChorus.mp3" autostart="true" loop="true" hidden="true">
