I have my forum in construction but regular members still get on. Any idea why that happens?

Then you don't have your forum on Construction.

Admin Panel>>General>>Configuration>>Look for Under Construction>>Yes>>Save

If you put it on Holiday they can view your forum but not login or post.

It is in construction but for some reson it resets after so long.

Can it be made to be a shorter period such as 2 hours ? We had a member pass and want to observe a time of silence while she is being laid to rest.
