Custom Profile fields?

Hi!

I was wondering... Is it possible to put inn custom profile fields in members profiles? Like: When you read a post by a member, then on the left you see name, age emploi etc.. Would it be possible to add more there??

haha, no no no ..simple and easy..follow me

1-admin panel (old version plz)

2-general admin

3-click on that tab from above that says "avatars and profiles"

then u will have below 4 fields, rename then as u want, and choose whether appears in the posts under the avatar or not, also u can make the field compulsory so the member must fill it while registering

try and tell me!

Hello.

You can choose which label you want to display. For this, go to Admin Panel > General Admin > Configuration > Avatars & Profiles. You can change the label names, choose if they are shown under the avatar and if they are compulsory for registration.

Because the number of character is limited on a mobile phone screen, many people tend to abbreviate words ("u" instead of "you", "r" instead of "r", etc.)

For exemple : "r u trying 2 sk8 ?" instead of "are you trying to skate ?"

And the problem is that this kind of writing has spread to forums...

I can't be PM'd. I asked to have it disabled at mid-May because I wanted to take a break. And I'm not ready yet because of my health problems.

The problem with SMS is that there are non-english people here, and if someone wants to translate a text with a translation machine, texts written in SMS can't be translated because the machine doesn't recognize the abbreviated words.

Thank Katt! I agree with you, because sometimes i don't understand what some people means and i can English a little bit.

I hate SMS language ( i hate it too if dutch people do it ), also i saw people writing: coz, cuz, cos.. what the .... is that? Is it cause?? I hope so.

You can add zodiac signs to the profile information, to do this go to:

Admin panel >> general admin >> configuration >> birthdays

Then click "enable zodiacal signs".

As for the mood changer, this isn't possible on forumotion boards. You could suggest it in the suggestion section, however.

And also to answer another side question: GeoW isn't part of te support team, he's a normal member

Support eam membersare those in the groups (Adminisators, Moderators and Technicans) they also have above their avatar
