Hi

How do you write a description about your forums like forumotion has done here on the help forum?

make it on photoshop etc. and upload it as the header with the title, or just write the description in General>Configuration>Site Description.

if that doesn't work then write it in 'site name' then go to Display>Homepage>Headers and Navigation and click yes to 'Display Forum Title.

so far the best and most effective way (by effective i mean the best way to do it your way) is to do it on photoshop

General>Categories and forums
Click on any forum name

Then at the bottom, there is
Description: Fill in the details
