Either you have to delete all the posts in the thread or delete the first post (i think).

On the thread list where all the topics are (Not categories)

Go to the section called "Permissions of this forum" and Click "Moderate This Forum" and then check which thread (Topic) you want deleted and BAM! Your done!

Hello,

There are moderation buttons below every topic, you just need to click on 'Delete' button and the entire topic will be deleted.
