Every time a new user registrates, the new user gets a personal group, like this guy named disconett got a group named 'disconett'. I want that to stop, because I don't like it.

Hello,
I think I know your problem...

You should set your forum's permissions.

First, go to the group that was automatically created for the member, and view it's permissions.

ACP=>U. & G. Tab=>Groups=>Group Administration

Then, when you find out the permissions that is given to your members, go to the forum and edit it's permissions.

ACP=>General Tab=>Forum=>Categories and forums=>Choose Forum

Modify it's permissions so that members can not do whatever is creating the groups automatically. {Mostly mod access}

No, I mean that I think there's an option that allows users to automatically get a group with their username. I want to take that off.

I think it stopped! A new member registered today, and it didn't get a new personal group!
