Personal User Groups?
Hi there,
On my forum, groups called "Personal User" are created without me or any other admin lifting a finger.
They're a hidden group, each pertaining of 1 member each.
Would just like to know how/why these are created, and what would happen if we deleted the group?
Thanks.

Re: Personal User Groups?
They are created so you could make a single user a mod of a forum or set permissions only for that user.

Re: Personal User Groups?
Hello,
a personal user group is a hidden group for just 1 user (can be more if you want to add others there), and is generally created when an admin changes the permissions for a user to view additional places on the forum.
For example, my forum is called pokemon, and has 5 forums seen by normal members.
A member called John joins my forum and he is a good friend of mine in real life and I want him to view more rooms which I have made.
I go into his user-profile and allow him to view these rooms.
He has this ability to see these additional rooms now, and he appears as a "personal user" in the groups as the permissions are controlled by the groups.
Do you understand this?

Re: Personal User Groups?
Thanks, I do.
So deleting the groups would just mean they lose their 'Special Acess?'
