Solved Can I stop.....?

a company keeps turning words used in posts by the forum users into links and says "ADV by eDintorni" in a little bubble next to it. is there anyway to stop this? as it's beginning to annoy a few of my members. many thanks in advance

Well, basically, if this 'company' has moderation powers to edit posts, etc., then you should remove their moderation powers.

they don't even show up on the users list. they show up as a guest....... I've tried restricting access to almost everything, but even words in the forum category descriptions have been turned into links........ I don't even have ads turned on and ads for non members are blocked. So I have no idea how they have got in....

do you use google adwords? That might be causing your problem.

it doesn't say google, cos my forum is to do with gaming words like ps3 and xbox etc... get turned into links

could a mod lock this now? I finally managed to block them. put an ad block on too for 2000 points but thanks anyway guys Very good
